Terms and Conditions
Cancellations must be advised in writing to [email protected] and your registration fee will be refundable, subject to the following conditions:
Depending on when your cancellation is received, the below concessions will be made:
- Up to 60 days prior to the event date – full registration fees will be refunded
- Between 60 – 31 days prior to the event – 50% cancellation fee will apply to registration fees paid*
- Within 30 days – no refund on monies paid*
* An alternative delegate name can be provided to [email protected] to transfer the registration at no charge.
Non-payment of registration fees will result in registration not being confirmed. All fees are GST inclusive.
Accommodation Cancellations
You may cancel or change your accommodation by contacting the hotel directly. For accommodation cancellation policies, please refer to the individual hotel policies accepted at the time of booking.
Postponement or Cancellation by Organiser
If the event is postponed or cancelled by the organisers, the below policy will apply:
In the event of postponement by AIDH, all registrations will be carried over to the revised conference dates.
In the event of full cancellation by AIDH, all registration payments will be fully refunded.
Terms and conditions
A surcharge applies to credit card transactions. Visa and Mastercard transactions incur a 2.5% charge, and payments made by AMEX attract a 2.5% surcharge.
AIDH will ensure every effort is made to meet your specific dietary requirements; however, this cannot be guaranteed.
Program
AIDH reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute speakers and/or presenters, vary prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity without notice. If changes are made to the event, AIDH will use its best efforts to maintain equivalent standards. AIDH reserves the right to cancel an activity due to insufficient numbers; registrants will be notified if this occurs and the value of the activity will be refunded. No compensation will be made for loss of funds associated with any travel or accommodation bookings should the event be cancelled.
AIDH takes all reasonable care to ensure that all details and prices of events on AIDH and conference websites are correct at the time of online publication. Ticket prices are subject to change without notice. Early bird and promotional ticket offers are only available at the lower price while the allocation remains and during the designated sale period. AIDH reserves the right to withdraw any offer at any time.
Although AIDH will make reasonable efforts to ensure all registrants can attend all events, some events will have limited places available and are dealt with on a “first-in” basis.
AIDH may at any time revise these Terms and Conditions by updating the event website. Delegates are bound by any such revisions.
Disclaimer
The opinions expressed in presentations at this event are those of the presenter and do not necessarily reflect the views of AIDH. AIDH disclaims all responsibility and liability (including without limitation for liability in negligence) for any expenses, losses, damages and costs you might incur as a result of the information presented being inaccurate or incomplete in any way, and for any reason reliance was placed on such information.
Delegate’s rights and obligations
By registering, you guarantee that your details as provided are true and correct.
You must follow any conditions, rules, regulations, or usage requirements of the Venue or of AIDH in connection with a Session or Event.
AIDH reserves the right, without any liability, to refuse admission to, or to eject you from a Session or an Event, in its absolute discretion, including (without limitation), for failure to comply with these Terms or if in the opinion of AIDH you represent a security risk or disruption to the running of a Session or Event.
Photography and the recording or transmitting of audio or visual material, data or information is prohibited at a Session or an Event without prior written consent from AIDH.
Code of Conduct
AIDH events present opportunities to learn, share knowledge and network. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, AIDH Staff, and all others are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct.
AIDH is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all event participants, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexuality, religion, disability, socio-economic background, experience, or appearance. No event participants should be subjected to any form of harassment, bullying or abuse and any such behaviour will not be tolerated.
All participants must follow the instructions of presenters, facilitators, and any AIDH event staff. Presentations, postings, and messages should not contain promotional materials, special offers, job offers, product announcements, or solicitations for services. AIDH reserves the right to remove such messages and potentially ban sources of those solicitations.
AIDH reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the event without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behaviour, and AIDH reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future event, online or in person.
Privacy Policy
Please note that information you provide will be collected for the purposes of processing your registration and recording your attendance. AIDH may also use these details to provide information about future programs which may be relevant to you.
Photographs, recordings or screen shots may be taken at the event for use on various AIDH materials and publications, online and print. By registering for this event, you consent to AIDH recording and using your image and likeness. If you do not wish to be recorded, please let an AIDH representative know prior to the event.
Chat logs from online sessions may be exported from the event by AIDH, attendees, or presenters.
By submitting a Registration Form, you consent to AIDH collecting, using and disclosing your personal information (including credit card information) to administer this Event. This may include the production of delegate lists and photographs for marketing and related uses and updating your continual professional development record, unless notified otherwise. Notice regarding associated events
The Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH) is the owner of HIC2026 and various, endorsed branded forums, industry events and breakfasts. All official events are included in the program, available on the website or the conference app. As a delegate, if you are invited to a co-branded event or an event utilising the event logo, please ensure it is endorsed by AIDH as part of the conference activities. You can check the program or contact AIDH events team if you are unsure if an event is part of the official activities.
Definitions
Event: includes any AIDH activity for which tickets are required which may include activities, programs, talks, tours or other events.
A Delegate: is a Ticketholder or other person to whom these Terms and Conditions apply.
Ticket: means any valid ticket, e-ticket or wristband that a delegate has acquired which permits the delegate to attend an Event.
Venue: means the site at which an AIDH event is held.
