2023 applications are now closed. Accepted candidates can expect to hear back the week starting 30 January 2023.

The WiDH Leadership program is a 6-month blended learning program supporting your development as a leader in digital health. The program ensures you have the confidence to know you can, competency to know how to, and connections to succeed in the real world.

The program is open for up to 25 select women, running from 28 February – 30 August 2023. Selected participants will need to be available to commit to all aspects of the program outlined below.

CURRICULUM OUTLINE

To be a leader you need three things: A desire to lead, a drive to move forwards and a yearning to learn. Whether you aspire to move up the career ladder; aspire to increase your influence in your current position; or aspire to understand and recognise your leadership potential this program will prepare you to embrace and succeed in the challenges that may face you.

We use a developmental framework tailored for women in the digital health ecosystem. You will explore, develop and distinguish the technical competencies and ethical values that comprise your leadership brand.

Our curriculum follows three complementary pillars of leadership:

Leading Self, understanding development

You will focus on and develop your understanding of your own leadership style, personal strengths, development gaps and reflect on your leadership perspective, potential and empowering yourself.

Leading Culture, understanding context and culture

You will build confidence in taking the lead, navigating the ecosystem and dealing with the conversations which arise for leaders both difficult and influential.

You will learn skills to develop create teams and cultivate culture champions and focus on strategic leadership, decision making and delegation.

Program cost

Participation in the program requires participants to pay:

 

  • The program fee of AU$3,000 (ex GST). Payable upon acceptance into the program. This can be paid by the individual participant directly or paid by their employer.*
  • Participants are responsible to cover their own travel and accommodation costs to attend the in-person retreats
  • Participants will be offered a significant discount to attend MedInfo 2023
