New South Wales
New South Wales branch prides itself on providing a wide range of professional development events on health informatics issues and brings together a knowledgeable and invested community of digital health professionals.
Offering wonderful networking opportunities for both members and non-members alike, the Institute’s NSW branch keeps the State up to date with the vast array of developments within digital health.
NSW has a long history of progressing health informatics in Australia. The branch was established in 1991 by the Health Informatics Association of NSW (HIANSW) to support a national health informatics body and became part of the Health Informatics Society of Australia in 2001. Today NSW is a vibrant and growing branch of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health.
