Andy Fodor CHIA

I am transforming healthcare by providing clinicians with effective tools to deliver safe, high quality and efficient patient care

I am passionate about using informatics to improve clinical workflows and achieve high quality health outcomes. With nearly 20 years of combined nursing and health informatics experience, I bring insights as a clinician, technologist and vendor consultant to my role.

My career began with studying Health Informatics in Victoria, Canada and worked in a variety of health informatics roles before travelling to Melbourne to begin his nursing journey. As a nurse I’ve worked in emergency, oncology, mental health, palliative care and radiology. In 2008 I joined iSoft to implement i.PM across five Victorian health services and in 2010 was Epworth HealthCare’s inaugural Clinical Informatics Specialist.  At Epworth he’s implemented a variety of clinical systems, including a Scanned Medical Record, Health Information Exchange, Digital Radiology, Electronic Medication Management and various Cardiology systems. I’ve presented a several conferences since 2013, achieved my CHIA and joined the 2019 HISA Victoria State Branch.
