Clinical Informatics
The Institute’s Clinical Informatics Community of Practice (CoP) believes leadership in clinical informatics is imperative if we are to get digital health right. Leadership skills in clinical informatics must be developed if we are to ensure the application of technology brings value to healthcare delivery and patient experience.

Why is Clinical Informatics important?
More and more we are seeing leaders across the health system called upon to help educate, inform and inspire change in hospitals and healthcare organisations.
In acknowledging the important role clinicians play in leading digital transformation in health, the Clinical Informatics network will lead and create opportunities to influence and shape the digital health agenda.
