What does it mean to be a CHIA?<\/h2>\n

\u201cFor me gaining CHIA certification was a professional step and acknowledgment that I was undertaking a key transition from general business and IT consulting to a focus on digital health. Studying for CHIA gave me the opportunity and drive to update some key knowledge areas. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of material and thoroughness of the examination process. Having been a practitioner for a decade or so since certification, I do think it has been helpful. CHIA has provided on-going professional backing to my work credentials, and at the same time connected me to a peer network of fellow professionals who I greatly respect.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is my hope and expectation that CHIA will increasingly become an important attribute for those seeking to employ competent health IT professionals.
