Deputy Director General of eHealth Queensland Damian Green has joined the Board of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health, bringing to the role a wealth of experience as a digital health leader in hospitals and health services.
Damian was appointed to lead eHealth Queensland in September 2019 and before that he was executive director of digital transformation at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services.
AIDH Chair Bettina McMahon said the Board invited Damian on to the Institute’s leadership team to optimise the diversity of experience on the Board and bridge an identified skills gap.
“Damian’s leadership of a jurisdictional health service brings a critically important perspective to the Institute, especially at a time when the new Institute is building relationships across the full spectrum of healthcare delivery,” she said.
Damian is co-opted to the role for an initial term until the Institute holds its next AGM in 2021.
