Virtual healthcare: Enhancing access to and providing culturally appropriate healthcare services

This workshop will be a working design session on enhancing access to services through virtual care – particularly for Indigenous communities, people from non-English speaking backgrounds and those living in regional and remote communities. How can we ensure the best possible access and provide a positive, culturally appropriate experience through virtual means?

The workshop will highlight a number of existing initiatives and examples of virtual care service innovations, and expand on the great scope for change with a new wave of emerging technologies and solutions. We will focus on what is important, what are the considerations and practical next steps.
