Building trust and confidence in health and data
The consumer experience in digital health will set the agenda for the Australasian Institute of Digital Health’s new expert panel on building trust and confidence in health and data.
This group will look at issues confronting many Australians such as using and sharing data for the benefits of individuals and the health system more broadly.
Members are drawn from the Institute’s Fellows and members, as well as community leaders, and will look at the challenges of balancing the needs of clinicians, patients/consumers and health system decision makers.

Every AIDH Fellow and member has a role to play in shifting the dial on Australia’s transition to a digital health future. Fellows and members of the Institute are recognised nationally and globally as leaders, and emerging leaders, in all fields of digital health and health informatics.
Expert Advisory Groups (EAGs) are the new mechanism for engaging expert Fellows and members in the AIDH’s leadership and advocacy undertakings. EAGs will be a tool for delivering Shifting the Dial, the AIDH strategic plan for Leadership and Advocacy.
EAGs will serve as links between Fellows, experts, and the Institute, advising the CEO and Director of Leadership and Policy on Shifting the Dial’s focus areas and priorities.
