Our branch
Queensland
The Institute’s Queensland branch is committed to fostering and maintaining a strong digital health and health informatics community in the State by providing opportunities for discussion, debate, learning and networking for all people with an interest in informatics in health care.
Queensland has a special place in health informatics history-making. The members of the Queensland branch of ANISIG (Australian Nursing Informatics Special Interest Group) were among the original founding members who initiated the broader national Health Informatics Society of Australia and hosted the first two Health Informatics Conferences in Brisbane and the Gold Coast in 1993 and 1994 respectively.
The branch welcomes new and old members, friends and colleagues to come to local events and learn about latest developments in digital health across the State.
Upcoming Events
The Institute hosts dozens of events nationally each year.
